Chef Kim Newton has developed a true passion for gourmet baking and cooking over the past 35 years. She enjoys preparing meals for all types of guests -- including friends and family. In terms of culinary training, she has taken classes at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
Kim has a B.A. in French Literature and Language from Boston University and a B.S. in Psychology from University of Massachusetts-Boston. She also spent one year studying at L'Université d'Aix-en-Provence in the south of France.
She taught French for 14 years and has led numerous student trips to Paris. While traveling to France and other European destinations, Kim has developed an appreciation for good food and local wines.
